Vegas Trip is coming up! Looking for advice, comments, etc

Wall of text coming, will be a TL;DR (Too long didn't read) at the bottom if you want to skip this.
My wife and I are going to Vegas in 2 weeks! (My second time). We have 4 days at New York/New York (comped from MGM) heading to Anaheim for 3 days to check out Disneyland and some escape rooms. When we come back we will be staying at the D (that's to their generosity) before leaving to come back home.
Our bankroll will be about $200-250 per day (any money left from the previous day we split and add to the next day. Worked well for us last year). This will make life difficult on the strip. We plan to play mostly at Excalibur. My wife mostly plays slots, so I'll likely end up at other strip casinos so I'll need something to do. Any idea what the limits are for bubble craps machines on the strip? Are there any cheaper ones at MGM or Caesars properties? (Min $1-3 would be awesome, but I know that is dreaming). We plan to see Shin Lim at the Mirage so we will likely play something before the show. We also plan to see Mat Franco at the Linq, so I'm guessing my wife will want to play some slots there, so I'll be hoping for some cheaper bubble craps as well.
We plan to take a day to travel to other parts of Las Vegas. I plan to go towards the Boulder Strip and play craps at Joker's Wild and any other cheaper places over on that side of town (suggestions welcome). I know that those areas have a lot of locals, new dealers and slower play, which I'm fine with. Hoping to find some of those cheap tables out that way.
We also considered heading towards the north end to check out the Aliante Casino and any others up there. We won't be in Vegas in time to check out the Hard Rock, which we never went into and never got to go into Hooters.
We plan to be downtown for a large portion of our trip (we have a rental) and play at Golden Gate, the D and Four Queens. We didn't play at the California or Main St last time, so we plan to check them out since we have a Boyd property close to home. We love downtown and except to spend much of our time there. We did stay and play at Fremont last time (since it was comped from play at our local Boyd casino), but it wasn't our favorite place. We never went into Golden Nugget since it seemed more expensive at night and Binions we spent maybe 15 minutes there. The Plaza we only ate there, but never had a chance to play.
My wife hit a jackpot at Golden Gate last year and loved the D so we plan to spend a lot of time there. They have a horse racing game upstairs that uses tokens, didn't get a chance to play it last time. We also both appreciate the dancing dealers. As well, they have a table game that is poker but has wilds. It was pretty fun and we could play for quite a while before starting to lose money.
We also want to hit the El Cortez to play the old slot machines with quarters/tokens and check out their craps tables.
On our trip to California, we considered stopping by some of those casinos in Primm (Buffalo Bills, Whiskey Petes, Primm Valley) because they look like fun dive places we could spend an hour or two at, get something to eat and break up our drive. Any experience with those?
If we run out of money, we plan to check out the Neon Museum, the Pinball Museum and take in some people watching. As well, I didn't get into all of the strip casinos (like the Cosmo, Cromwell and a few others to get my $1 chip).
All in all, we have a lot we want to do in a short period of time. More travel means less money spent on gambling right?
The TL;DR - looking for cheap bubble craps options on the strip, cheap places to play off the strip, craps parlours/old places to play that I should check into.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Since we're talking about Mafia IV ideas, here is my concept for a 3-part Mafia IV set between 1977 and 1979.

I've had an idea for a Mafia IV that would be a 3-chapter game, with each one sold and released separately. They would take place in:
Chapter I - The Italian island of Sicily, with the large city of Vucciria (Palermo), as well as towns of Casbach (Mazara del Vallo) and Templi (Agrigento), plus the countryside. March 1977-October 1977.
Chapter II - The city of Las Platas, Aztec (Las Vegas, NV) and its metro area, as well as the Cañon Rojo (Red Rock Canyon) and Lake Draught (Lake Mead) areas, and the McHawkins Army Base. October 1977-May 1978.
Chapter III - Empire Bay, plus the coast of West Guernsey (New Jersey) with the towns of Trunk (Long Branch) and Westport (Atlantic City). February 1979-September 1979.
Story
New features:
-Players can watch fictional TV shows and news (think GTA IV/V, but more serious) on 2 different channels.

Results of my first month counting

(Long post)
I've been going to casinos on average of 4x a week for the past 2 years and I would usually play roulette, baccarat, and a little craps. About two months ago i picked up blackjack and started practicing counting with a friend. My first Real day of counting, i started with $300 ($15 hands, 6D, 3 to 2) and ended up leaving with $2,000( eventually they raised the hands to $25) after 10 hours of play but this was mostly because i won two side bets that paid 190 to 1 on a $5 bet and 90 to 1 on another $5 bet. That was the perfect start. The next day i go in with $500 and cash in $200 for chips for $15 hands. I counted the count at 14 at one point, TC being 4-5, and i only upped my bets to $45 and won the next 9 out of 12 hands(also doubled/split 3 times and hit BJ twice). I put much of the $25 in my pocket so it didn't seem like i was up a whole lot at first glance. So at this point its looking something like this Day 1: + $1,700 Day 2: + $560 Day 3: + $160 Day 4: - $300 Day 5: - 300 Day 6: $580
Day 7: I decide to go to vegas, as I've never been there before. I take $3,000 with me( usually only play until i lose $300). This is where i was not discipline and went against many of the rules i set out for myself. I start off by playing at Mandalay bay, and after playing for about two hours i'm down $300. The next casino i go to is Luxor and i lose another $300 within the first 15 minutes. I would usually call it a day but i decided to chase my loses, and go from $25 to playing $75 hands. While playing $75 hands, the TC never went above 2 but if the TC was at one i would only increase the hands to $125. I went up winning back the $600 i lose and about $350 more. I then head to Cromwell to play $5 hands and brush up on my counting. After two hours there I'm up double on my $100. I then head to the bellagio and start playing $50 hands ( I usually never play anything over $25 min at my local casino) and out of the first five hands, the dealers hits BJ three times, i bust once, and push. At one point i counted the count at about 12 with a TC of 3 and i decide to start doing $100 bets and i lost the next 6 out of 8 hands and also doubled on two of those hands. the count is still at about the same and i buy in for more as im confident ill get it back as the count was high. I end up losing a total of $2,500 even when the count was high. At this point I'm a bit upset and disappointed that i could lose so often when the count was very high. I end up leaving Vegas the next day.
So now i'm back from vegas a feeling a little discourage, as i lost most of my winnings from the previous week. I dont play for another 3 days. After my vegas experience, i make new rules for myself, 1. Don't play Anything over $25 min, 2. Buy in with $300 and if i lose it all, just leave and if i triple it, then also leave even if i'm feeling lucky. 3. Don't chase loses.
Day 8 of gambling: $800 Day 9: $400 Day 10: $200 Day 11: $1500 ( hit a 290 to 1 side bet on $5) Day 12: - $300
Day 13: $400 Day 14 : - $200 Day 15: My friends and i make another trip to las vegas. I'm feeling more confident this time, as i feel like i have more experienced and read up on a few blogs and also read two books on counting and tweaked my system. Long story short, i end up losing $2,000. I was at ballys's and the count was the highest i've ever counted, at 17, with TC being 4-5. I lost the original $300 and bought in for another $500( doing $50-$150 hands with the last bet being $225) and lost that. so i do one more buy in for $500 and lose it all in the next 8 hands ( the count was not as high but was still high). I should have left after losing the first $500.
Day 16 of gambling: - 300 Day 17 of gambling $600 Day 18: $800 Day 19 : I hit a slot for a little over $1,200 after only putting $20 playing $3 max bet, I usually don't play slots but a friend was in town and we were just playing slots. Day 20: $200 Day 21 : $300
Things i learned during my first month of counting. 1. Don't chase loses 2. Prepare to have a descent bankroll 3. Set certain spreads ( i personally stick to only 1-4 max on $25) 4. If you're feeling bummed out or upset, go eat something or do anything but play. 5. Keep track of your daily wins and loses. It can be very easy to lose track. 6. Tip! 7. Keep practicing and tweaking your methods!
I personally don't think i will be doing large bets and spreads anytime soon. I seem to make the most money when i only stick to a certain amount( $300 buy in with $15 min). Also by setting a certain goal for the day and cut off. My goal is 3x but many times i leave before that. I only do spreads of up to $75 if i'm playing $15 min but most times it will only be triple unless the count is very high. About 4 of my friends and i are currently practicing playing as a team and will update you all in the coming months. If you have any suggestions or advice, please let me know!!

Shuttle Location Thread

Can we make a thread where we list the hotels and the closest shuttle location that corresponds to each hotel? Through any of the shuttle stops? Obviously it would be updated as more info comes out but just to begin? Because this will be my first time in Vegas and despite me trying to plan everything I'm having a difficult time figuring out which shuttle stop will be closest to my hotel and I can only assume there are some other people out there with similar issues! For the record, I'm booked to stay at Aria and can't decide if (based on JusCollege's tentative shuttle locations) I should go with the Linq shuttle pass or Tropicana because, on a map, they seem pretty similar in distance. Hope this thread becomes useful! Feels great to finally be planning stuff! :)
edit: So based on this I can put together the OFFICIAL Insomniac shuttle hotel location list, still need for other shuttle companies, also this is only going off the article, so if there are any corrections that need to be done please let me know!

tensorflow: feature_columns said to have rank 0

running the code below gives me an error that says feature columns are rank 0. my thinking on why i wrote the code as is, is below; please tell me where I am going wrong.
given a csv with many columns, with some of them useless, I only grab the ones I need. train_y is my labels column the rest are feature columns. I then create feature columns to define how they should be used. The columns are created as categorical columns with dictionaries, except for those that are int and float. I wrap them in an indicator column and bundle them in a new list to create the model.
The data train_x is the features and train_y is the labels. These are passed into the input_fn to create a dataset. I use the create a dataset with slices function since i already pulled the data from the csv file.
I print out the dataset to see what is going on and I crash. The dataset is not convertable even though the printout says they are the correct dtype. I cannot figure this out.

NFL player owes Las Vegas cops an apology, union leader says

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 72%. (I'm a bot)
The head of a Las Vegas police union reiterated his demand for an apology from an NFL player Friday, after a top Las Vegas police official cleared of wrongdoing three officers who briefly detained Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett outside a casino last month.
President of the Las Vegas Police Protective Association, called Bennett's accusations "Outlandish," and said they defamed every officer in the department, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
On Friday, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, head of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, said the officers acted appropriately and professionally when they detained Bennett.
Authorities reviewed hundreds of videos, including those from police body-worn cameras, but found no evidence that the officers who had direct contact with Bennett profiled the player by race or used excessive force, Lombardo said.
Video footage shows an officer with his gun out while handcuffing Bennett as he lies in a traffic lane on Las Vegas Boulevard outside the Cromwell casino.
Police union leader Grammas said he didn't know why Bennett would consider the case a race-based incident.

Vegas sheriff says no evidence officers mistreated NFL player Bennett

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 70%. (I'm a bot)
LAS VEGAS - Police acted appropriately and professionally detaining Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett when he ran from a casino as officers searched for an active shooter following a report of gunfire at an after-hours club on the Las Vegas Strip, the head of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said Friday.
A review of hundreds of videos, including police body-worn cameras, found no evidence that the three officers who had direct contact with the NFL star early Aug. 27 profiled Bennett by race or used excessive force, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said.
Video shows an officer with his gun out while handcuffing Bennett as he lies prone in a traffic lane on Las Vegas Boulevard outside the Cromwell casino.
Bennett's post, titled "Dear World," said, "Las Vegas police officers singled me out and pointed their guns at me for doing nothing more than simply being a black man in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Lombardo used a stop-motion narrative of casino surveillance video showing Bennett appear to dart behind a row of slot machines, and then body camera video from a sergeant joining the chase when officers noticed him running.
Neither Lombardo nor the executive of the 3,000-member Las Vegas police officers' union, who attended the media briefing, identified the officers involved in the incident.

Man tossing $100 bills into the air sparks fights on Las Vegas Strip

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 47%. (I'm a bot)
Fights broke out among Strip clubgoers Monday when a man began throwing $100 bills in the air, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon said.
About 4 a.m., a crowd streaming out of Drai's, a beachclub and nightclub at the casino, was thrown into chaos near the east valet area when a man holding a stack of $100 bills decided to share the wealth, police said.
Patrol cars and other emergency responders used the valet drive at Bally's as a staging area to dispatch officers to the valet area of The Cromwell, 3503 Las Vegas Blvd. South, facing Flamingo Road. Gordon said additional officers had to be pulled from other Metro area commands to help with crowd control.
Responding Metro officers directed pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the area, but Las Vegas Boulevard remained open during the incident.
Officers were seen handcuffing a shouting, struggling man in the valet area about 5:30 a.m. Metro confirmed that two misdemeanor arrests were made.
Metro officers were on scene by about 1:15 a.m. to the reported shooting, resulting in a rapid evacuation of the casino floor and the property's nightclubs.
